Custom Domain names for your account

To use the Vyoopoint domain masking feature you'll first need to have registered your own domain name, chances are you already have this for your studio, agency or portfolio website.

The main setting you want to affect is to tell your domain name, ex: review.mycompany.com to point to your Vyoopoint account URL, ex: mycompany.vyoopoint.com.

To make this change you need to modify the CNAME record for your domain using the tools provided by whomever has the authoritative nameservers for your domain to set up a CNAME record. You'll need to follow the registrar's instructions to create a CNAME record for your domain. This will be a different process for each registrar (for example: godaddy.com, register.com, networksolutions.com, etc.).

Please note: you are NOT changing your domain's nameservers, only adding a CNAME record.

Next, log in to your Vyoopoint account and go to Preferences > General Settings, enter your Custom Domain (ex: customdomain.com) or sub-domain (ex: review.customdomain.com) and click "Save Domain".

It can take up to 24 hours for these changes to take effect but usually they happen much quicker. So once you have all the above in place typing the URL of your custom domain into a browser will bring you to the login page of your Vyoopoint account.
